What's on your mind?I am a clinical psychologist treating men, women, and adolescents. If you have been thinking about therapy or looking for the right person for someone else, I understand how hard it can be. Some people put off that first call to a psychologist for a long time. Others know they have a problem, have tried many ways to solve it, and decide that it's time to get help. I treat clients for depression, anxiety, trauma, sleep disorders, life transitions, etc. In my work with adults and teenagers, I help my clients address underlying problems that often impact relationships, school, work, family. Adolescents and young adults often struggle with anxiety, depression, drug/alcohol use, developmental issues, or school problems. Talk therapy can help.My education includes a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (CSPP) and a M.A. in developmental psychology >(Columbia). With my husband Dr. Chen Z. Oren, I co-edited Counseling Fathers, a book written for psychologists, therapists, and counselors about doing therapy with fathers. I have local experience at Tarzana Treatment Center (drug and alcohol rehab), Northridge Hospital, and CSUN and Moorpark College. Finding a new therapist can be tough.
